West Coast coach Adam Simpson has conceded that the club’s injury crisis has helped keep him at the helm, but understands he no longer has that to fall back on amid improved competition for spots.
Simpson was under the pump to retain his job at the Eagles last year after a horror three-win season that featured five triple-figure defeats.
